# Place a Bet ### Type /Bet To place a new bet make sure you are on the main menu and tap 'New Bet' or Type `/bet.`

### Select Wager currency: You will then be prompted with the following message:

After reading the message and understanding it, click ETH. Currently we only accept BASE ETH for Bets. 0.0 ### Enter Amount Now Enter the amount of BASE ETH you would like to wager.

### Select a Token to predict: You can select from one of the quick options or select custom token to predict on a coin that is not listed.

Select from quick currencies or enter a custom contract.

If you select 'Custom' you will be prompted to enter the contract address:

Insert the contract address and you will be provided with the tokens name and current price. We take data from dexscreener.

### Enter Price Prediction:

Once you enter the price you predict you'll be asked if it will be higher or lower than this price, at the time the bet is drawn.
You'll then be prompted to enter the **'Bet time duration'.** This is how long the bet will go on for until the result will be drawn. \ \ \&#xNAN;*Example:* \ \ *So if i say the price of BTC will be higher than 64k and i set the bet draw time to 12 hours, the price of BTC must be higher than 64k at the end of 12 hours, for me to win.*

Here we have selected higher than 64,000 and Bet to be drawn in 12 hours.

Now you will be prompted to enter the **deadline to join the bet**. This is the time frame where users have an opportunity to disagree and counter your bet. This should be Less than the Bet time duration. \ \ In our case we will set the Deadline to join the bet to 2 hours. ### Bet Summary and confirmation: Once you have entered the Deadline to join the bet, you will be provided with a summary. This is your opportunity to check that everything is correct and either confirm the bet or cancel it and start over.

Once confirmed, your bet will be published in Open Bets and the Live Bet Feed @FS\_LIVEFEED.
